I welcome you all to the Department of Mechanical Engineering at NBN Sinhgad Technical Institutes Campus. The Department is established in the year 2011-12 and offers undergraduate program in Mechanical Engineering. We train our budding engineers who face the challenges in life and career by imparting rigorous academically and professionally relevant teaching in the areas of Design Engineering, Thermal Engineering, Manufacturing, Mechatronics, CAD/CAM/CAE and Automation.
A blend of lectures and project-based learning supplemented with seminars, internship, presentations, group discussions, audit courses, honour courses and live projects from industry make the learning process interactive and experiential.
The department provides excellent environment to the students to hone up various engineering skills through continuous interactions with industry leaders, alumni through workshops, seminars and other extracurricular events. Also, the department has well equipped laboratories and highly qualified and experienced faculty.
The Department, in collaboration with Mahindra and Mahindra Ltd. Chakan Pune has structured and implemented “Self-Management Trainee (SMT)” training program for their employees.
